Keeping myself accountable!

So my husband says I need a hobby. Between getting married at 19 and having twins at 20 I haven't had much time to develop any, unless cleaning up baby puke and poop, making my husband's lunch and cleaning the house can be considered hobbies. When I got to thinking, I really would love to have a hobby seeing as he has quite a few himself: fishing, hunting, golf, and I could go on. So here's my new hobby ... Loosing weight, sticking to it and blogging about it. I plan on loosing 50lbs in 52 weeks (or one year)!

I have never been any good at sticking to anything. I have very little self-control, so this is going to be very difficult for me. I am a junk food additct. I LOVE eating from all of the food groups: Chocolate, candy and salty things. Having twins has only made this worse. I use excuses such as: "I had no time to make breakfast so I just had to eat chips and drink pop, pepsi is my caffeine...I don't drink coffee." I have come to the realization that I can't use my babies as my excuse forever. My girls will be 20 years old and I'll still be saying, "Oh I really should loose weight, but you know I just had twins, darn baby weight!"

I love being a mom and I was definitely given double the blessing! Now I want to become the fit and active mom my girls and hubby deserve.

So here's my task: Loose 50lbs in 52 weeks OR LESS. 
My start weight: 230lbs (eek, cannot believe I just posted that on the internet!)
GOAL: 180lbs

I plan to be brutally honest when it comes to what I have eaten all day as well as how active I have been. Hopefully that way I will keep myself accountable by remembering that if I eat chips for breakfast I will have to tell all of you!
