Being a young married couple with two kids, funds are obviously usually pretty tight. Being healthy is so expensive! Buying your fruits, veggies and yogurt.
Josh and I are staying at my parent's while my family is in Europe for three weeks. My mom has done the grocery shopping for us so we don't have to buy anything while we are here. So my blogs might be to a minimum for the next few days (before payday) because my eating hasn't been best because I didn't choose my groceries, haha!
Here's what I ate today:
Breakfast - 1 small whole wheat waffle, 1 tsp of homemade maple syrup
Lunch - 2 small pieces of ham, 1 cup of vegetable rice
Snack - Large Chocolate Milk
Snack - 100 Calorie nutter butter bar
Dinner - BBQ honey chicken rice
Dessert - Ice Cream Sandwich
I am setting a goal for myself. I would LOVE to have lost 10 or 15 pounds before my family returns from Europe! I shouldn't have any excuses, I mean here at my parents I have a treadmill, eliptical, bike and trampoline!
My daily activity for today was jumping on the trampoline with the twins! So much fun :)
Well goodnight everyone!
You are right eating healthy is so expensive!!
ReplyDeleteGet creative, think out side the box, one thing I learned is that the healthier it is for you the more you can eat of it, which helps keep you full and less snacking!!! I LOVE TO SNACK!!! Keep up the good work, I am right there with ya!! God Bless! Amie
